18' Jump Spacing

Just looking at doggie decisions based on handler location and cues at 18' with three jumps.

Interesting . . . if you're kind of a jumping geek.

Tennie. Sigh. Ky - UP is better than collecting!

Ok. First impression is that you are using a dark tug and a light tug. When you are facing 'out' you are rewarding with a tug in your right hand, opposite side of the dog. When you are facing 'in' you have the LIGHT colored (more visible) tug, hanging at your right side, close to the dog . You 'may' be giving and additional cue without realizing it, therefore getting tighter decel turns when facing 'in'.

Certainly possible! I mostly wanted to see the effect of my position on the jumping effort from 1-2, so I'm not sure I'll try it with different toy placement with both, though I might with Ky since she overjumped on the "facing her" rep.

Yep. Aptly named Rave. Yelling on a different floor of the house.

I love agility practice videos with random visits by "waiting" dogs. Heather's are famous for that. All you need is Fenwick to show up and the whole thing would be perfecto. ;)
